Day 54

Day 54
By Gregory Valentine

So
I've learned several major lessons in these 54 days:

Ask more questions: ask the same question, if you can in at least 3 different creative ways. You want a solid answer. Someone says to you "your first paycheck is next friday" you must ask what will my days be like until i receive that paycheck plus how is my paycheck calculated.

Trust your instincts, even when it looks absolutely perfect and you think it is, beware.

At the same time-

Don't trust your instincts. Ask more questions. Ask because you may subconsciously be putting something into the offer before you, and looking hopefully for something which is really not there.

Nothing goes according to how you dreamt it should have. Either it's far better or it's far worse, than what you're expecting.

Be ready to work hard, harder than you've ever had before and to be exhausted and have accomplish nothing.

Be prepared to give up entirely and see everything fall into place.

Be ready to be thrown into something you were completely not ready for, and float like a boat.
Be ready to see all the things you were actually  prepared for, to sink like a rock and while you are sinking to have to quickly reinvent your self and mindset before you hit thebottom.

Be prepared to not only move forward, but also not to have the option, to go backwards. No retreats, only advancing further into the desert with what you have.

Be prepared for friends to help you a lot more than you can imagine and also for some friends to not help you at all. But for you to still love them, care for them, and be ready to help them too.

For we've learned, that seriously your friends have their manifold problems too and for any help at all which is received when struggle is upon your doorstep, is the true mercy and grace of God.

Be prepared for creative juices to flow and things you never thought possible you are able to do and survive.

Be prepared to play a part in many individuals lives as you're undergoing this desert storm.

Be prepared to cultivate a strong mental attitude.... This is real life baybee and you're not a baby.

Be prepared for all your hopes to fail and be more ready to make new hopes to replace them.

Be ready to trust Almighty God for wisdom and deliverance.... But be ready to realize he is using this prolonged maelstrom to teach something powerful and right.

Things didn't go as planned for us....
We are now 54 days out in the desert.
We are not hopeless.

We have applied to department store for seasonal work and food stores and temp agencies.  Done numerous side gigs computer repair, working to km ske ends meet, Plus we have been practically blessed by the financial giving and wonderful helping activities of friends and family.
We have many plans but we are trusting God to direct our steps.

My state license got lost in the mail and now the trial is to locate and replace it, as fast as possible. It had a request to be fixed so it's not ready yet but soon this will all be a history lesson
Now to get it done before the 54 days turns into 100 days.

Ill let you know how it goes.
