Why the beach?

<p>Many years ago, I was involved in an institutional church. We had a church picnic and it lead us to a rare beach in NYC. </p>
This beach, in my opinion, has the best seclusion spots I've ever known. Though there are plenty people there. Not like Jones beach, which to me is so not inviting and too many people.  This beach is so nice in the afternoon sun  that my light skinned wife never gets sun burned, going there. We go on the afternoon when the sun is no longer at its highest index.
It was on this beach that we learned that Jesus taught on the seashore and that its a place to see God's handiwork and the limits of mans influence being limited. No skyscrapers here!
It's a place of refreshing and freedom.
