Good Friday

Woke up
Thinking about my wife and kids still sleeping.
Turned off the alarm clock.
Getting ready for work today this Friday.
Then it strikes me.
I remember what day it is in history;
The day Jesus was crucified.

The air seems cold
The bus ride seemed heavy
The train ride seems extra long.
He did it for my sins.
All my sins.

How deep the father's love for us
How Vast beyond all measure
That he should give his only son.
To make a wreck his treasure.

Thank you Jesus for taking my place on that cross! All you ask from any of us is that we live gratefully of this sacrifice, and love like you did, our fellow humans .

Sadness is swallowed up with hope and joy, looking foward to the joy of the resurrection too!!" what a awesome hope we have!! Our Savior beat death!!!
