Fear doesn't come when you expect it. Nope it comes when you get your morning cup of decaf while sitting in a conference room across from a stranger.

  1.  Fear comes when the fire alarm goes off and you are reminded that you are the fire warden for the entire floor.
  2. Dread is when you hear them say that there's something going on in the cellar.
  3. Terror is when you are stuck in one room to watch a stranger, While your volunteer team flees the office for their safety.
  4. Panic is when you have to sit still and be calm because loosing your cool is harmful to everyone else.
  5. Strength is when you say God help me.
  6. Focus is when you realize that this title bears the name "human protector" aka "Helper".
  7. Power is when you realize that God will help you thorough anything.
  8. Ready is when all your fears are gone and you are fully capable to function.
  9. Responsibility is when you call downstairs to learn updates.
  10. Encouraged is when your fellow fire volunteer comes back and man's up to be by your side.
  11. Serious is when you realize that You can do it.
  12. Relief is what happens when you realize it was only a false alarm.
  13. Decompression is when the public announcement says all clear!
  14. Joy is when you look back and say praise God!We went through that successfully.
